Motiur Rahman
a high-rise slum in Dhaka, Bangladesh
Motiur Rahman, once a civil servant, relocated to Dhaka from a rural village with dreams of a comfortable retirement. Instead, fate found him the caretaker of an overgrown, neglected park where he spends his days keeping nature at bay and fostering a sense of community. When plans for redevelopment threaten, his resolve strengthens, driven by memories of his own childhood wanderings in the countryside.
