Marin Babić

Since his childhood, Marin Babić has lived by the rhythm of the sea, first watching his grandfather mend nets in the salt-scarred workshop, and later inheriting the space to patch and preserve the town's footwear. Driven by necessity, he's a creature of habit, finding comfort in his routine of anchovy-laden lunches and repair tasks that mimic the precision of navigation charts. His evenings are often spent peering into the mysteries of corrosion, a battle he wages nightly under the leaking skylight of his beloved, weatherworn shop.
