Mahmoud Mansour
a refugee settlement outside Amman, Jordan
Mahmoud Mansour, once a young man escaping the upheaval of home, found himself carving a life among dusty tracks and stories marked by envelopes. Every step on his mail route echoes with memories of whispered letters and whispered messages from his late wife over chipped coffee. Now 81, each bend of his knee is testimony to decades of bearing not just mail but hope and hardships, as he traverses with parcels of stories and fabric swatches dipped in symbolism.
