Karim Choudhury
a high-rise slum in Dhaka, Bangladesh
Karim Choudhury grew up in a bustling neighborhood of Dhaka, where the sound of life blended with the symphonic rhythm of a city in constant movement. As a child, he was entrusted with the family bakery, and he has spent decades dedicating his nights to the comforting, repetitive act of baking, while his days are spent ensuring everything continues to run smoothly. The only tangible proof of his life's work are the meticulously kept receipts, which he files away like a librarian tending to a vast collection of informal history.
