Amanuel Tesfaye
a coffee farm in the Ethiopian highlands
Amanuel Tesfaye grew up surrounded by the rhythmic whispers of swaying coffee plants in the Ethiopian highlands, inheriting his love for storytelling and quiet observation from his late parents. By day, he serves shiro and sambusas to passersby, but it's his solitary evenings that ground him in art. When the market din fades, he retreats to a makeshift studio where clock parts and coffee beans mix to become poetic visual punctuations of his life's cycles.
