Adewale Ogunleye
a commuter town outside Lagos, Nigeria
Adewale Ogunleye has spent decades surrounded by the hum of sewing machines and the buzz of everyday life in a hectic strip mall. Each day passes with the measured cadence of stitches and the warmth of well-worn fabric under his fingers. When he escapes to the serene hollowness of an empty church, his body finally unwinds, only to find itself counting the rhythms of a simmering kettle once he returns home.
